Hello
family. Sorry this is coming a little late. Yesterday we didn’t have much time to write
because we had to go with president to a district conference in Ticul. It went pretty good and we had fun
participating in the conference. Well, starting with what happened the last
week. Starting on Sunday.
We
went to a stake conference with President Garcia and it was in Estaca Brisas. Which is where one of my areas Chichen Itza
is. Well it turned out that two of my
converts from that area were going to receive el sacerdocio de melquisedec. I
had the great opportunity to give them the priesthood. I felt a great honor and I am very grateful
for the restoration of the priesthood. It
is the power of God and we are the only church that has been authorized from
God to act in is name. I don’t say it
with pride. I say it with solemnity and
with the desire to share the message with everyone so they too can enjoy the
blessings of the priesthood.
Later
on that day, we traveled down to campeche so we could be ready for the zone
conference on Monday morning. We slept in the hotel again and then in the morning
the zone conference went well.
As
we were going home, we had to drop some missionaries off at a pueblo called
peto, as we were driving president hit some giant speed bumps because here in Mexico,
they like to put speed bumps in the middle of the road on freeways just for fun
haahahha well we continued driving for like 20 minutes and then the car stopped
going because of the friction. Well let’s just say we were stranded literally
in the middle of the jungle with no signal. haaha we ending up pushing the car
a while and then it got better and the hna Garcia and President went to the
closet pueblo because it would have been too much for the suspension if we
would have gone too. Well I will send
you some videos about that but it was a pretty good week.
Also
I broke a record for most tacos de cabaza eaten. I ate 24. I would have eaten more but it was late and we
needed to be home because we needed to travel to ticul again in the morning. Well I love you guys and I just want you to
know that I love you lots. adios}
