Janel’s Note: The
proper spelling for the illness David talks about is spelled: dengue hemorrhagic fever. Hopefully he is over this, we are just
thankful that he was diagnosed and was seen and treated by a Dr.

hello family. well this week was probably one of the hardest
weeks number wise that i have had in the mission. but its all good. we just
need to work harder this week. we lost 2 days because i was sick so they had to
put me on lock down so we couldnt leave. i slept the 2 days and it was pretty nice but
im ready to have a whole work day. i had dangae i still dont know how to spell
it but its something you get from mosquitos. its funny because when the doc
took my temp. i had a temperature of 102 but i didnt notice because we are
always hot haha. it makes me wonder if there have been other times when i have
been sick...but oh well all is good now. things are going smoothly here. our
biggest challenge is finding real new investigators. like everyone will listen
but not everyone is willing to change. but we prayed and fasted for new people
so if we work hard we should be blessed with these people. well it seems like
from what mother said, things are well with yall. I know that this church is true and i know
that this work that we are doing is the most important so always remember to
share the Gospel with someone else. everyone
that has been warned should warn their neighbor. well thats about all i have to say this week
so adios
mother, its true what
you say about the grace of God but as it says in 2 nephi 26, we are only saved by
grace after doing everything we can. i said what i said because we do need
to be perfectly clean from our sins. 3 nephi 27 19-20 is very clear on that and
also another one in 1 nephi 15. the final judgement is real and it will be a
horrible day for many people, even members of the church because there are many
that do not understand that they must repent of all their sins. God cannot look
upon sin with the least amount of tolerance. so we must repent of all our sins.
we must repent if we haven’t studied the scriptures like we know we should because
it is a commandment. we must read the scriptures because we will be judged for
the things that are said in the scriptures. if we dont read the scriptures, we will
not recognize Jesus when he comes. so dont fall into the temptation of thinking
that every other day is ok. thats what happened in the dream of lehi and those people
died. read the Book of Mormon every day and repent of all your sins. nothing
impure can enter in his kingdom. we are saved by grace only after doing everything
we can. idk what everything is for you but i know that for me, i can do a whole
lot more than i think that i am capable. i love you a lot mother and that’s why i say
these things. we can never repent too much or too sincerely. remember what
benjamin said as he ended his speach in mosiah 4. there are so many ways that
we can sin that they are not numbered so watch out for everything because there
will be many that will say eat drink and be merry for tomorrow we die. and if
we are found guilty, God will give us some stripes and all willl be well in
zion. that is a lie of satan. we need to repent of all our sins. well I just
find this part of the Gospel really important and I share the most important
things with the people i love most.
ola mc. what up. so did you go trick or treating? and whats
up with your squirrles? well adios
pops, good luck on your talk. i wish i could here it. thats
cool about the weather too. well adios
love elder coffman
