wow i didn{t even realize last week was fourth of the july haha well i guess thats what you get for being in mexico. its pretty crazy to think that it is almost a year from now when i came home for a bit. it seems like a lot longer because i think of all the things i have learned in this year. it has been an amazing experience and it will continue to be. that sounds really fun the things you did on the fourth.  right now on the radio it is playing a greenday song from mothers biking track that she would always listen too and also this week i heard a justin biber song and i was like nooooooooo! i went so long with out hearing it haha but sorrry for the random thought but i learned something really important this week. it has to do with ministering and the sacerdocio and service. we were working and working and working and couldn{t find anyone or get any exito to teach so we decided to ask a member and he didn{t know either so we were leaving and he said that there was a guy who they just operated on and so we went to go see him and hes a less active and he really enjoyed the visit and we blessed him. at first i was in a hurry to go and teach another person, but then the thought came to my mind that we need to ministrant and make him feel better because he was sick and afflicted. so wqe stayed there and listened to their conversion story and invited them to church and they came. and after the lesson, it was so special because i felt really happy and full ofthe spirit. and it was so fullfulling. eventhough the day was really hard and everything, that one experience made it all worth it. and it wasa even better for him and his wife because the went to the capilla. so that was the first thing i learnedc and then i learned about service too. this week almost everyday we did a service project where we had to wake up an hour early, which doesnt seem like much but to a missionary, every hour of sleep is needed and appreciated, but we did the service of chapeando and painting and stuff and we felt really happy doing that too. then i reading some stuff by brigham young how the gospel blesses the families when we believe it but even more when we live it and i realized that we were reallyliving it in thisweek. we were ministering and serving. doing exactly what Jesus did. we were helping people believe more in christ and his power. we came to serve, not to be served. and so i invite all of you to serve someone this week and to minister unto them just like Jesus did. there are some really good scriptures you should read for family night. mosiah 2 17, mateo20 26-28, marcos 10 45 mosiah 3 19 mateo 19 14 mateo 23 11-12, mateo 25 31-45. they are all really important and one thing i learned is that the service is a great way to show humility and if we want to gain respect or or conficince love, we need to be more humble and serve. the service is the only true way to measure humility- james e. talmage

love ya olots

We read the scriptures - they were really good! I especially liked the one about suffering the little children to come unto Jesus. What a great message.
