Well I guess things haven’t changed too much since I called, especially since you guys haven’t either. It was funny because when I called, it seemed like you guys were the exact same as when I left. I am really grateful that I got to call you guys.  Especially with skype.  It was good to see you are all healthy and happy.  We lost 3 days of work this week but we still had a really sweet week. We baptized Esther. She is one of the most prepared people I have ever met and it was miracle that we found her. She was a reference of her next door neighbor and she almost didn’t accept us but as she saw how we were trying so hard to get in contact with her even though she always had a dog barking really loud and not letting us pass by to get closer to her house.  She had a lot of questions from Adam God theory to temple ordinances and it was a really fun experience teaching her because she is one of the smartest people we have ever taught. she really understands the gospel, even before being baptized, but now she understands it even better.  She taught me many things and I truly love her. Sadly her kids didn’t get baptized, but we will keep working.  They really wanted to, but their dad won’t let them.  We will keep praying for that.

Well I guess this week I didn’t think too much of a message to write about but maybe what I would suggest is to keep learning more about the gospel.  Never stop learning.  For me, it is something delightful.  I love learning doctrine. although has a missionary, we don’t do too much of deep doctrine studying, I am still amazed on how much we can learn just even studying faith, repentance, and baptism.  For us it is necessary that we keep learning because sometimes, peopñle try to confuse us and tell us what we believe and if we aren’t studying a lot, we won’t know how to respond. or better said, we won’t have the lords promise that we will not be confounded before men.  The Holy Ghost truly has guided my words while I teach and explain things or better,  I have said the right words as he teaches and explains things, and I know it is only because I am worthy of his companionship and because I study and I love studying and I will do it every day.  Remember what Jesus said 4 But he answered and said, It is written, aMan shall not blive bycbread alone, but by every dword that proceedeth out of theemouth of God.  i value my study time. it really has been a miracle. before I know I didn’t study  the gospel like I should have and I have repented of that and I invite any person that reads this letter to repent and to make gospel study a priority in our life. d and c says 6 It is impossible for a man to be asaved in bignorance. and 19 And if a person gains more aknowledge and intelligence in this life through his bdiligence and obedience than another, he will have so much the cadvantage in the world to come. well i love you guys and i hope that you can study the gospel everyday.  It is essential to our salvation. it is not just a suggestion. it is a commandment.  3 aAngels speak by the power of the Holy Ghost; wherefore, they speak the words of Christ. Wherefore, I said unto you, bfeast uponthe cwords of Christ; for behold, the words of Christ will dtell you all things what ye should do.   16 Behold, my asoul delighteth in the things of the Lord; and mybheart pondereth continually upon the things which I have seen and heard.

That’s all I have to say this week so have a great one and have a great new year.  My resolution is to love people more and to lose some weight hahaha adios

We have 101 Book of Mormons in the house and now we are going to give them out like candy on Halloween. 12/17/2013.  Merida, MX Mission.

buenos dias family. well things went pretty well for us this week. we found alot of good people and actually someone found us. it was pretty cool because we were just walking down the street and a ton of people had rejected us that day saying stuff like otro dia which translates to next day, but it really means never and also some other rejections that are just lies. Needless to say, it was kinda tough, not because everyone was rejecting us and so we felt bad for ourselves, l but because they need this and they don’t want it. but anyways, we were walking in the street and an old lady comes out.  She doesn’t have many teeth left, but she said she used to have a  Book of Mormon but she lost  it and she was actually willing to buy one from us. We told her we just charge a smile...she almost didn’t have enough for it because of her toothless situation hahah but we gave it to her anyways.  We set up an appointment to return because it’s not every day that someone come up to us to talk to us. so we get to her house the next day and she is not there but we got there a little early.  We are walking back and then we see them in the street. the old lady and her daughter are so excited to see us and we go back and they accept the baptism and everything. They are some of the nicest people I have ever met  their spirit is hermosa.

but these two hermans are just so sweet and especially the daughter because she is really patient with her mom.  Her mom has been abused her whole life and we feel like she suffers from those affects mentally.  Well she is really patient with her mom and really they have made me want to show more love. As we were teaching them last week, it was really interesting because as they were telling us their difficulties and things like that, all I could think of is when Jesus says mis entranas son llenas de misericordia which means my bowls are filled with mercy.  I want to have compassion for these people. I really do feel a love for them because their spirit is so sweet. We all have a spirit inside of us and if we pray, we can ask God how our spirit is. We need to have a strong one and then it doesn’t matter what we look like on the outside. I always believed that, but this week I got a spiritual confirmation of this doctrine. I am going to be more compassionate and more than anything, I am going to tell the world the story of the most compassionate man that has ever lived.  Joy to the world, the Lord has come.  I am committing myself to share this message through my actions more than anything. 

I am really excited to talk to you guys tomorrow.  I hope you have a great Christmas.  I downloaded the It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas and I will listen to it before opening up my package.  I love you guys a lot and thanks for sending it.   There are a lot of crazy things here, but my comp and I decided that to solve all the problems here where we live, we are going to baptize everyone so wish us luck. hasta manana mi cara familia.
